How we work out these numbers
- Your bill is turned into monthly units using the current KSEB home tariff, including electricity duty and fixed charges.
- Each 1 kW of solar makes about 115 units a month on average in southern Kerala (less in the monsoon, more in summer).
- Prices are based on our standard home kits and include panels, inverter, mounting, wiring, installation, KSEB paperwork and GST.
- The subsidy is the central PM Surya Ghar subsidy: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW or more. It is paid by the Government of India to your bank account after KSEB commissioning — not by AGEMS.
- Savings assume net metering with KSEB and today's tariff. If power prices go up, you save more.
- These are estimates only. Your exact price depends on your roof, shade and wiring, which we check during the free site survey.
