Privacy Policy

Artha Green Energy Management Solutions ("AGEMS", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.agemsolar.com, design.agemsolar.com and our customer portal, why we collect it, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address, site address.
- Project details: electricity consumption and KSEB bill details, roof location and measurements, photos you share, the system we design for you, quotations and your acceptance of a proposal.
- Login details for our customer portal: your email address, and your name and email from Google if you choose "Sign in with Google". We never see or store your Google password.
- Subsidy and net-metering documents you ask us to handle, such as electricity consumer number, ID and bank details required by the PM Surya Ghar portal or KSEB. We use these only to file your application.
- Technical data: basic logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and essential cookies needed to keep you signed in.
We do not collect more than we need, and we do not sell your data.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, visit your site and prepare a solar design and quotation.
- To install, commission, monitor and service your system, and honour warranties.
- To apply for subsidy and KSEB net-metering on your behalf, when you ask us to.
- To send you service messages: login codes, proposal updates, installation schedules and invoices.
- To meet legal, tax (GST) and accounting obligations.
We send marketing messages only if you agree, and you can stop them at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with services that help us run the business, under their own security and privacy terms:

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 2 years if no project follows. For customers, we keep project and warranty records for the life of the system warranty, and invoices for the period required under GST law. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law or to honour a warranty;
- withdraw consent you gave earlier (this does not affect work already done);
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
Email info@agemsolar.com with the subject "Privacy request". We reply within 30 days.
7. Security
Our sites use HTTPS encryption. The customer portal shows each customer only their own project. Staff access is limited to approved team members, and data is backed up daily.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies, to keep you signed in and to make the website work. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Grievance officer
If you have a concern about your data, contact our Grievance Officer: Jenin Levin (Proprietor), info@agemsolar.com, +91 80751 61323. If we do not resolve it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
